Cziffra Festival Talent Award


Marcell was awarded with the Cziffra Festival’s Talent Award on the 24th of February.

The Cziffra Festival’s Life Prize, Talent Award and Young Talent Award was handed over for the third time. The Festival seeks to promote talented young people and the highest values of human achievement by material recognition and moral appreciation. In the jury, honored and highly esteemed artists, scientists and institutional leaders of our country will be respected. Two instrumental artists up to 32 years of age are awarded annually by the The Cziffra Festival Talent Award  for their outstanding performance. This years winners are:

Julia Pusker - Junior Prima Award winner violinist

Marcell Szabo - Junior Prima Award winner pianist

Masterclass and competition


Marcell gave his first masterclass last week and he was also part of the jury at the Franz Liszt Piano Competition. The competition took place at the Béla Bartók Music Secondary School. The competition was held from August 21 to 24 and during that time the 34 contestant could also take masterclasses.
